Comedy K-Drama

Actor Seo Kang Joon (Cheese in the Trap, Are You Human Too?) will reportedly play the lead role in the upcoming MBC drama Undercover High School (literal title).

On March 6, an entertainment industry official told JTBC Entertainment News, “Seo Kang Joon has decided to make his comeback. He will play the role of Jung Hae Sung, the protagonist of Undercover High School.”

Undercover High School is a delightful comedy drama about a man who goes undercover as a high school student while hiding his identity as a National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent.

The K-drama marks Seo Kang Joon’s first project after his military discharge. The actor was last seen in Grid, which was released in 2022 on Disney+. Expectations are high for his more versatile performance, and it is anticipated that viewers will see a side of him they have not seen before.

Undercover High School will begin filming in the first half of this year, with plans for it to air on MBC early next year.
