Seo In Guk and Park So Dam Exclusive Interview [Elle Korea]

Seo In Guk ve Park So Dam As their upcoming drama “Death’s Game” is about to begin, they participated in an exclusive interview and photo shoot for Elle Korea magazine.

“Death’s Game,” the new drama adaptation of the popular webtoon of the same name, tells the story of a person who starts a new life with death. Choi Yi Jae, burdened by social pressures, decides to take his own life. However, this decision brings other disasters with it, and the death he chooses as a means of escape punishes him with a game. As a result of this punishment, he must experience death over and over again for 13 different lifetimes. In order to live his life to the fullest, he must survive the death that is destined for him.

In interviews after the photo shoot, Park So Dam described the excitement she felt when she accepted the drama: “This was the kind of project I always wanted to try.” And He continued: “There were elements in the script of the series that cannot be expressed by just reading. Because of this, during filming we were constantly imagining what the final result would look like after post-production. “I think that’s what I found both the most difficult and the most appealing about making the drama.”

Seo In Guk said about the drama: “Personally, I really enjoy time loop stories. As an actor, I was really excited about this innovation. So I was very happy to be able to take part in the drama.”

Both actors spoke highly of their co-stars; Seo In Guk praised Park So Dam’s presence and her unique approach to taking on a difficult role.

Seo In Guk said, “Despite her remarkable resemblance to the character in the original webtoon, So Dam’s aura was so great that I felt like the Death in the webtoon and the Death in the drama existed separately.”

Park So Dam similarly praised Seo In Guk’s acting, saying, “The day of our first script reading, I was so amazed that I kept staring at him. Because he was exactly who I imagined Yi Jae to be. I even said, ‘I’m not that into the role yet.’ I thought, ‘I didn’t prepare much, when did he have time to prepare so well?'”
